More than a thousand Armenian trucks lined up at the Upper Lars checkpoint.
According to the latest data, 2,889 vehicles are currently lined up at the checkpoint, including 1,082 Armenian trucks. The reason for the traffic jams is a surge in Russian tourists traveling to Georgia and Armenia. In some cases, crossing the border can take up to 15 hours.
