Moscow commemorates Arno Babajanyan on his 40th death anniversary

On November 11, Moscow commemorated the 40th death anniversary of Arno Babajanyan, the outstanding Armenian composer of the 20th century and USSR People’s Artist.

A memorial service was held at 3:00 pm in the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow, Russia. Later that day, a memorial concert took place at the Moscow House of Veterans of War and Armed Forces.

The lead singers of the Arno Babajanyan Memorial Foundation and the military orchestra performed at the concert, accompanied by the Central Military Band of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
