Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin condemns exhibition ‘Western Azerbaijan in our cultural memory’ in Warsaw

The Department for Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Artsakh under the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin issued a statement condemning the exhibition held in Warsaw.

“On April 8, 2025, in the capital of Poland, Warsaw, the Azerbaijani Embassy organized an exhibition titled ‘Western Azerbaijan in our cultural memory’. This is yet another instance of Azerbaijan’s propaganda aimed at expressing territorial claims against Armenia and seeking to appropriate the centuries-old spiritual and cultural heritage of the Armenian people. We strongly condemn Azerbaijan’s attempts to distort history and present Armenian settlements, sacred sites, and historical and cultural values located on the territory of Armenia and Artsakh as ‘Azerbaijani’ or ‘Albanian’,” the statement said.
