Motion submitted for arrest of brother and nephew of Catholicos of All Armenians – lawyer

The investigative body has submitted a motion to the Armavir Regional Court of First Instance (Judge Artak Babakhanyan) requesting the detention of 68‑year‑old Gevorg Nersisyan and his son Hambardzum Nersisyan, lawyer Ara Zohrabyan reported on Facebook.

“The court session will begin shortly. The investigative body and the prosecutor’s office have decided to pursue criminal prosecution of these individuals, based on the testimony of one person. The testimonies of the Nersisyans and the video recording were not taken into account,” Zohrabyan wrote.
