National Security Service reshuffles leadership following murders in Parakar

According to Alpha News, Garik Barseghyan, head of the National Security Service (NSS) regional office in Armavir Province, was dismissed today in connection with the murders in Parakar.

By order of NSS chief Andranik Simonyan, Hakob Petrosyan has been appointed as the new head of the NSS office in Armavir Province.

On September 23, in the village of Merdzavan in Armavir Province, the head of the Parakar community, Volodya Grigoryan, and his friend, criminal police officer Karen Abrahamyan, were killed.
