New academic year in Artsakh: photos

Knowledge Day was celebrated in Artsakh schools, accompanied by the sounds of patriotic songs.

According to Artsakhpress, the national anthem of the Republic of Artsakh was played at the beginning of the event dedicated to the Knowledge Day in Khachatur Abovyan No. 1 Primary School in Stepanakert.

In his congratulatory speech, the Minister of Education, Norayr Mkrtchyan, has noted that after the 44-day war, they continue to live and work in emergency conditions.

“The nine-month-long complete blockade caused a humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, which continues to directly influence the proper organization and implementation of educational activities in the scientific and educational institutions of the Republic of Artsakh,” the minister said.

The director of the school, Lena Avanesyan, has noted that they will work with more energy, persistence and perseverance this academic year.
