Next meeting on border delimitation to take place late in January, says Deputy PM

A new meeting of the border delimitation commissions will take place late in January, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told RFE/RL’s Armenian Service, noting that the timeframe and place should be additionally agreed upon.
According to the preliminary arrangements, the sides will first focus on the draft regulation on the joint activities of the commissions to clearly define the types of legally significant documents and legal acts to be used and to identify the last topographic maps of the Soviet period, which were drawn up on proper legal grounds and published by competent authorities. Other similar matters will be discussed as well.
The latest meeting of the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan led by Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev was held on November 30 at the Ijevan-Gazakh section.
