Nikol Pashinyan’s potential resources for dividing Church can be considered exhausted – Tigran Kocharyan

Yesterday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a group of bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Church at the government headquarters. Alpha News editor-in-chief Tigran Kocharyan addressed this issue.
“It is very good that Nikol Pashinyan’s ‘agents,’ so to speak, have been finally exposed,” Tigran Kocharyan emphasized.
According to him, Pashinyan resorted to this step because the processes were accelerating and he was not getting what he wanted: “He’s already taken certain actions against the Church several times, but his attempts failed—in Hovhannavank and Talin. Even though he has quite a large number of voters in Talin, relatively few people showed up.”
According to Tigran Kocharyan, Nikol Pashinyan’s potential resources for dividing the Church can be considered exhausted.
He noted that Pashinyan’s main objective is the destruction of the Armenian Apostolic Church: “The main goal of Nikol Pashinyan and his masters is either to destroy the Armenian Apostolic Church as an institution or to discredit it as much as possible.”
Kocharyan believes that playing with the Church’s reputation is dangerous, as the impact could be so severe that people will simply stop going to church.
“The Church is not a store or an LLC, where one closes and another opens. The Church is a structure of national value, and if it is lost once, it will not be restored,” he added.
