No comments until clergymen confirm their signatures – Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan

Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, Chancellor of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, said that the publication of the document is merely another episode in the campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the rest is a matter of technical details. He emphasized that the Catholicos of All Armenians was elected by the National Ecclesiastical Assembly, and this fact cannot be questioned.

Arshak Khachatryan also addressed rumors connected to his name. According to him, there are no grounds for his excommunication from the Church. Regarding the examination of the scandalous video in which the archbishop allegedly appears, he noted that he is unaware of any such investigation.
