Normalization of relations with Armenia has been ‘sent to garage’ – Turkish politician

Former Turkish MP from the opposition İYİ Party, Ahmet Erozan, wrote on social media platform X that the process of normalization with Armenia has effectively been “sent to the garage,” pending approval from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“While Ankara waits for Baku’s approval, Azerbaijan is conducting its own negotiations with Israel regarding the signing of the Abraham Accords — and has no intention of waiting for Erdogan’s permission,” Erozan wrote.
The politician also posed a rhetorical question, “Guess who is pursuing a realistic policy that serves national interests — Erdogan or Aliyev?”
