Speaking with Alpha News, Artsakh singer Artur Khachents spoke about Samvel Karapetyan’s unlawful charges of public calls to seize power, the authorities’ further actions and his contribution to the life of Artsakh.

“I heard Samvel Karapetyan’s speech. In my opinion, as a son of the Armenian Apostolic Church, such a statement and message are completely natural for any Armenian and Christian,” he noted.

According to Khachents, the current situation is not surprising. The singer dreams of a government where artists are not compelled to discuss politics but can instead focus on culture and topics that are pleasant to them.

Speaking about Samvel Karapetyan’s charitable initiatives, especially for Artsakh residents, Artur Khachents stressed the importance of building a medical center in Stepanakert.

“He may have made more significant donations, but I am grateful to him on behalf of my people for such a gift. Not having deep humility and a sense of gratitude is, at the very least, sacrilege,” Khachents emphasized.
