In Yerevan, near the Nemesis memorial, the official opening ceremony of the 12th ARF Youth and Student Pan-Armenian Panagoum has taken place. Immediately after the ceremony, participants will march toward the statue of Aram Manukyan, founder of the First Republic of Armenia, where a wreath-laying ceremony will be held.
“On behalf of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, I congratulate all of us on convening the Pan-Armenian Panagoum of our student and youth unions in the homeland. It is very important and symbolic that during these difficult days for our people and state, about 400 young people from 17 countries around the world are organizing their gathering in the homeland. This is a response to all those who, over the past years, have done everything to undermine the Armenia-Diaspora connection, even by banning the entry of our Diasporan youth into Armenia. This is a response to those who think that by unlawfully arresting ARF youth, they can prevent the struggle for the collective rights of the Armenian people,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, MP from the “Armenia” parliamentary faction, during the opening ceremony.
He emphasized in his speech that with each blow, the ARF becomes stronger, more resilient, and continues the struggle for national goals with even greater determination.
