Nikol Pashinyan’s goal is to destroy Armenia, Arpine Martirosyan, a member of the Armenian community in Stockholm, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“From Nikol Pashinyan’s perspective, his actions are perfectly normal. It is sad that we, too, accept them calmly and silently. His anti-Armenian policies include changing the anthem, turning Artsakh into Karabakh, and pitting artists against the people and the people against artists. Pashinyan’s main goal is to turn us into a vilayet. But we shouldn’t be surprised that this is happening; we should be surprised that we tolerate it,” Martirosyan said.

Speaking about the position of the Armenian community in Sweden, she added that, as in Armenia, people were divided into two camps.

“The Armenian community in Sweden is also silent. People are not organizing rallies; some are trying to rally around the Church, which is very good. Those who haven’t attended church for a long time have started attending services, and that’s already a sign. But, unfortunately, Nikol Pashinyan’s policies have alienated the Diaspora from Armenia. People are divided into two camps; what he did in Armenia, he did in the Diaspora as well. Therefore, today it is very difficult to unite the Diaspora,” Martirosyan concluded.
