One of steps in response to Kochubayev’s unlawful arrest is my strike – Roman Yeritsyan

In a Facebook post, attorney Roman Yeritsyan announced that one of his responses to the unlawful arrest of Alexander Kochubayev would be his own indefinite strike.

“I fully understand that this decision may cause certain inconveniences for my clients, and I ask for their understanding. However, what happened to Kochubayev is not just a campaign against the legal community—it is a campaign against all of you. I repeat: the authorities have effectively devalued the role of the attorney. That’s why it’s better to resist and endure this challenge than to allow irreversible consequences,” he wrote.

The attorney also noted that he has already refused to participate in four court hearings and expressed gratitude to the judges who responded with understanding.
