One third of Artsakh teachers get job in Armenia

One third of teachers forcibly displaced from Artsakh have found jobs in educational institutions of Armenia, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan said at a press conference on Wednesday.

According to Andreasyan, 400 Artsakh teachers are involved in the education process, with 200 of them being employed in the regions.

Andreasyan reported that all Artsakh teachers who got a job will receive an additional payment of 30%.

Teachers who wish to work in schools in the Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions, Vardenis and Chambarak towns of Gegharkunik, as well as in the cities of Ijevan, Berd, and Noyemberyan in the Tavush region of Armenia, will also receive an additional 50 thousand drams.
