Opposition MPs file lawsuit against government and foreign ministry

Opposition MPs from the Hayastan faction Kristine Vardanyan, Anna Grigoryan, Gegham Manukyan and Artur Khachatryan filed a lawsuit against the government and foreign ministry.

“We demanded to recognize as unlawful the March 14, 2024 decision of the Armenian Foreign Minister, according to which we were forbidden to get acquainted with the discussed drafts of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan. The court, presided over by Judge Robert Makeyan, accepted the lawsuit for proceedings. The date of the preliminary hearing was also set. It will be held on January 14, 2025. 

We will be consistent in demanding the annulment of this arbitrary decision and the restoration of our right to familiarize ourselves with a document that is extremely important for the public,” MP Kristine Vardanyan said on Facebook.
