On September 10, representatives of the Our Way movement, founded by philanthropist and businessman Samvel Karapetyan, visited Tavush Province, accompanied by the movement’s coordinator, Narek Karapetyan.
Their first stop was the village of Achajur. There, Narek Karapetyan presented a plan developed by the Our Way movement for the reconstruction and development of public infrastructure in the village.
Local residents welcomed the creation of the new movement and shared with Narek Karapetyan and other members the existing issues in the village. The main concern for the people of Achajur is the drinking water supply, which they believe is being distributed improperly. They also pointed out the poor condition of the village road, which lies in a landslide-prone area.
The Our Way movement members also visited the Makaravank monastery. The spiritual pastor, Father Arshavir Asatryan, introduced them to the history of the monastic complex.
