Over five thousand heavy trucks waiting to cross from Russia to Georgia

More than five thousand trucks are in the electronic queue for passage from Russia to Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint in North Ossetia, the Road Traffic Management Center reports.
As of Thursday morning, a total of 5,013 trucks have been registered in the queue.
Earlier it was reported that the movement of all types of transport on the Georgian Military Road was suspended on April 13 due to severe weather conditions in Georgia.
The Georgian Military Road is the only land route linking Russia with Georgia and Armenia.
