Ovsep Aslanyan wins WBC Muaythai World Championship

Russia’s Ovsep Aslanyan won for the first time the WBC Muaythai World Championship, which was held in Greece from May 30 to June 9.

The championship brought together 560 athletes from 93 countries.

Ovsep competed for the title of world champion in the 51 kg category. He became a silver medalist three times and won bronze once.

Ovsep Aslanyan reached the final by defeating Thailand’s Chalongchai Minindi and won his first gold medal at the World Championships.
