The newly opened Gallery Art Club in North Hollywood hosted an exhibition of works by artist Nikol Aghababyan, which, according to him, would be his last exhibition in Los Angeles.

In his opening remarks, Nikol Aghababyan announced his decision to return to Armenia, stating that the proceeds from the sale of his paintings would be used to construct an art house in his native village of Koghb.

Honored Artist of Armenia, Hasmik Harutyunyan, shared her joy at the occasion of the exhibition. She noted that in such a monotonous environment, Nikol’s vibrant colors are invaluable, but what pleases her even more is his return to Armenia.

Doctor Irina Harutyunyan started painting after retirement, and then she met the master and fell in love with his colors. She said that each of their meetings turned into a lesson.

Gayane Hovsepyan, one of the attendees, selected a piece close to her heart from Nikol’s collection and became the first investor in the construction of the Koghb House of Art.

“The colors of his brush are floating in the air, every work has some interesting flight. I came to know Nikol better through his work,” actor Armen Margaryan told Alpha News.

When asked about his feelings regarding his return to Armenia, Nikol Aghababyan noted, “We have some things to do there, we have to go.”
