Pakistan to open diplomatic mission in Yerevan

Pakistan is preparing to open a diplomatic mission in Armenia. According to Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, the two sides are actively working on establishing an embassy, which is scheduled to open next year.

Relations will be built on the principles of reciprocity in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961. The public will be informed about further steps.

It should be noted that Pakistan remains the only country that has not yet officially recognized Armenia’s independence.
