The lives of 30,000 Armenian children, 20,000 elderly people and 9,000 people with disabilities are in limbo, we demand positive steps by President Biden and the US State Department to prevent a new Armenian genocide by the Aliyev regime, the Pan-Armenian Council of Western USA stated.

The structure reported that the 24-hour hunger strike begins as a sign of solidarity with Artsakh. The main requirements of the Pan-Armenian Council of Western USA are to ensure the immediate reopening of the Lachin corridor by introducing the adoption of the UN Security Council resolution, to stop US military assistance to Azerbaijan, taking into account the illegal humanitarian blockade of the Armenians of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), to impose sanctions on members of the Aliyev regime, to provide $100 million in USAID humanitarian aid to Artsakh to ensure the survival of 120,000 civilians, and to submit to the UN Security Council a resolution on the establishment of a UN mission in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), consisting of 5,000 international military personnel to ensure the physical security of the population.

“Mr. President and Mr. Minister, drastic measures are now needed to prevent the second Armenian Genocide. We ask you to take a leading role in protecting the 120,000 Armenians of Artsakh and their fundamental right to self-determination based on the principle of separation for salvation,” the Council said.
