Papik Javadyan to participate in European U23 Greco-Roman wrestling championship in Albania

The capital of Albania will host the European U23 wrestling championship from March 8 to 14, where 18-year-old Armenian wrestler Papik Javadyan will also compete. He is the only classical wrestler from Russia’s Krasnodar region, who was included in the Russian national team along with nine other wrestlers. Javadyan will compete in the 60 kg category.

The tournament will start with freestyle wrestling, followed by women’s bouts, and the program will end with Greco-Roman bouts.

A total of 429 participants will compete.
