The conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the meeting in the BRICS Plus/Outreach format did not interfere with the general discussion at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS. He noted that international meetings are always used for bilateral contacts.
“No. It did not interfere. This is common practice. Heads of states use multilateral formats for bilateral contacts,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
