Pashinyan and Aliyev invited to SCO Summit

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been invited to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, which will take place from August 31 to September 1 in Tianjin, China. The announcement was made during a press conference by Liu Bin, Assistant to the Chinese Foreign Minister.
According to Liu, the summit will bring together leaders from over 20 countries and representatives of 10 international organizations. Among them is Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with foreign leaders and heads of international organizations on the banks of the Haihe River to review the SCO’s achievements, discuss its future development, and strengthen cooperation,” Liu Bin said.
