Pashinyan and Zelensky talk briefly in Granada

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Granada, Spain, on a working visit, had a brief conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

A meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan under the Western mediators was scheduled in Granada, however Azerbaijani President refused to come to Spain.

Earlier, the wife of the RA Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan visited Kyiv. On September 6, at the invitation of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, Hakobyan took part in the Third Annual Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, where she briefed on the situation in Artsakh. Then she met with the President of Ukraine and his wife, posting a photo from this meeting on her Facebook.

It should be noted that Zelensky and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation the day before, during which the leader of Ukraine once again stated that he supports the “territorial integrity” of Azerbaijan.
