Pashinyan made Armenia colony of NATO, expert says
Speaking with Alpha News, Stevan Gajic, researcher at the Institute of European Studies, commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement about the will to further deepen Armenia-EU relations.
“Pashinyan literally made Armenia a colony of NATO, primarily of France, which, in its geopolitical game against Russia—where France practically lost its colonial kingdom in Africa—is trying to somehow compensate for this and cause damage to Russia. However, it is the Armenian people who suffer the damage. It is especially cynical now to talk about the status of a candidate when the European Union has been disintegrating for a long time, when the European Union is actually only a political corner of NATO, and when the European Union is actually in a big recession,” Gajic said.
“I believe that this is actually a very sad situation. This is a continuation of the West’s colonial invasion of Armenia and nothing else,” Gajic concluded.
