Pashinyan receives Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation and steps aimed at promoting the partnership in the economy, education, culture, aviation, and other areas.
Szijjártó noted that the Hungarian government intends to open a consulate in Yerevan, which will contribute to the further development of Armenian-Hungarian relations.
The parties also touched upon the forced displacement of over 100,000 Armenians of Artsakh as a result of the ethnic cleansing committed by Azerbaijan, the humanitarian situation and the steps taken by the Armenian government to resolve existing issues.
Armenia-EU relations as well as regional cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.
