Pashinyan sacks head of office for international legal matters

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Liparit Drmeyan, the head of the Office of the Representative on International Legal Matters. The decision was officially published on the government’s website.

Earlier, Drmeyan stated that the Stockholm Arbitration Court’s ruling on Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC is binding. The statement angered Pashinyan, who said that he is the government, and anyone who disagrees with his position should submit a resignation letter and step down.
