Pashinyan understands that it will be difficult to defeat Samvel Karapetyan in economic sphere – Armen Badalyan

The “Zangezur corridor” may be handed over before the elections, which is an existential problem for Iran and fateful for Russia, political strategist Armen Badalyan told Alpha News.

“We are witnessing the neutralization of military and economic factors in Russia. Border guards are already leaving some areas, and the withdrawal of the base will definitely take place,” Badalyan noted.

The political strategist also highlighted the economic factor associated with the ENA.

“The ENA company was not de jure taken away, but de facto this has already happened—its owner will be changed,” he said.

When asked what makes Nikol Pashinyan keep Samvel Karapetyan under arrest—after all, the latter’s rating is only growing this way—the political strategist said, “Pashinyan understands that it will be difficult to defeat Samvel Karapetyan in the economic sphere. The problem is not the rating but preventing his associates from being active in politics.”
