Peace in Pashinyan’s understanding is new concessions — Hayk Khalatyan

Pashinyan’s peace is new concessions, and now the president of Azerbaijan has a historic opportunity to solve the Armenian issue once and for all, said Hayk Khalatyan, editor-in-chief of Alpha News in Moscow.

“Pashinyan will go to the elections with the slogan, ‘Believe me once again. We are one step away from peace, and I will take that step.’ Unfortunately, after the 2021 elections, a rather unfavorable perception of the Armenian people has emerged globally. The people who re-elected Pashinyan in 2021 will still elect him now if they are told the same story: all those who will replace him will bring war. However, we have seen that after 2021, Pashinyan brought new wars and losses. Peace in Pashinyan’s understanding is new concessions,” he said.

According to him, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has already received everything he could not even dream of a few years ago.

“Now he has a historic opportunity to solve the Armenian issue once and for all,” Khalatyan emphasized.
