Pension is not enough, how can one live on 36,000 drams? – survey in Shirak
They give millions to the MPs, but nothing to the pensioners, residents of Shirak province said in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that if pensions were increased, people would not know how to spend the money.
According to them, the country needs a leader who at least thinks about ordinary people.
“My pension is 36,000 drams. Now tell me, how can one live on that? I spend 12,000 drams just on medicine,” said one of the respondents.
People emphasized that pensioners today live in extreme conditions, and their pensions should be increased not by 20,000 drams, but by 50,000 drams.
