The Kremlin assumes that stable conditions will now be created for a ceasefire in Artsakh and for the return of the displaced civilians, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with journalists.
“Russia anticipates a stable ceasefire and a possibility to return evacuated civilians,” he said.
He added that the Russian peacekeepers made every effort to help people in Artsakh leave dangerous areas.
According to Peskov, no specific steps on unblocking transport corridors in Artsakh have been taken yet.
“We have agreed to work on it, but so far no specific steps have been taken,” he said.
