French President Emmanuel Macron posted in Armenian to mark the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“The Armenian Genocide began 110 years ago. On this April 24th, a national day of remembrance, let us remember all the victims and keep their memory alive. Let us continue to work, in the name of humanity, for Truth and Justice,” Macron wrote.

Lebanese President, General Joseph Aoun, also issued a statement, emphasizing that commemoration is not merely a remembrance of a painful historical event but a reaffirmation of the fundamental values of justice, human rights, and human dignity.

“It is a reminder to the world of the importance of standing against all forms of violence, extremism, and exclusion…May the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and all victims of injustice and aggression around the world, rest in peace. May God protect Lebanon and its people from all harm,” Aoun stated, reiterating Lebanon’s unwavering solidarity with the Armenian people in their peaceful struggle to uphold these principles.
