Price of 2026 elections will be Armenia’s independence – Ishkhan Saghatelyan

The current administration is doing everything to present in a different light those states that committed genocide against us in our own homeland, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, representative of the ARF Armenia Bureau, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“They are conducting state propaganda so that the people remain uninformed and develop a distorted perception of our enemies,” Saghatelyan said.

According to him, what Nikol Pashinyan is proposing today under the guise of “peace” has nothing to do with peace. “By continuously making concessions, we will not achieve peace. Nikol Pashinyan proposes to concede to Azerbaijan until it stops, but life shows that the sole purpose of Turkey and Azerbaijan is to eliminate Armenian identity,” he said.

When asked what the opposition will propose instead of Pashinyan’s “peace,” he said: “We must clearly explain to the people that Nikol Pashinyan will not bring peace. Until June, Azerbaijan and Turkey will give bonuses to Pashinyan to deceive the people, and the price of the 2026 elections will be Armenia’s independence.”
