Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturyan, while at the Yerablur military pantheon, did not approach the parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war and did not visit their graves, Vigen Azatyan, the father of Arman Azatyan, who was killed in Varanda (Fizuli), told journalists.

According to him, it is unclear why the Day of Remembrance for those who died for the Homeland is observed on January 27—one day before Armenian Army Day—rather than on September 27, when Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh.

“For us, every day is a day of humility, but I am against the date of January 27 if September 27 exists. Why has September 27 not been established at the state level? Does Azerbaijan not allow it?” he said.
