Inflation target in Armenia may decline – Alpha Economics

According to the governor of the Central Bank, the government is considering lowering the inflation target from 4% to 3%, which has both positive macroeconomic aspects and risks.
It should be noted that the inflation target in developed economies is indeed lower than in developing ones. However, a lot of discussions about raising the inflation target have arisen in developed economies following recent crises.
