Justice must prevail sooner or later – The People Speak

As part of “The People Speak” project, Alpha News conducted surveys in Yerevan and in Armenian-populated communities in the United States and Russia to gather public opinion on today’s most pressing issues.
Participants in the Alpha News survey expressed their opinions regarding the government’s campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Church.
“The Church has always been the protector of the Armenian people. I consider the authorities’ actions to be wrong,” said one respondent.
Citizens expressed their outrage over this and noted that justice must prevail sooner or later.
Commenting on the imprisonment of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, respondents expressed hope that he would be released as soon as possible.
“The authorities are taking such measures to prevent the people from rising up against them. But, sooner or later, the people will unite and speak up,” noted another respondent.
