Samvel Karapetyan is that rare political figure who will bring about a turning point – The People Speak

As part of “The People Speak” project, Alpha News conducted surveys in Yerevan and Armenian-populated communities in the United States and Russia to determine citizens’ opinions on the most pressing issues of the day.
“The next government in Armenia must be strong, honest, loving, and dedicated to building the country,” one citizen said.
Speaking about the government’s campaign against the Church, participants in the Alpha News survey noted that it is a blow to our national identity.
“They want to erase our centuries-old history and faith. We must preserve what we have—our Church,” said one respondent.
Citizens also addressed the arrest of national philanthropist and entrepreneur Samvel Karapetyan, emphasizing that any nation would want to have such a son.
“Instead of cherishing and valuing him, we arrest him. Why? This is unacceptable. There’s not a single Armenian in the world who isn’t proud of him,” one citizen said.
Another citizen expressed confidence that Samvel Karapetyan will become that rare political figure who will bring about a turning point. “The selfless attitude of the Karapetyan family is evident,” he added.
