Protest in Los Angeles against COP29

Around 500 students from Ferrahian High School as well as Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School, Mesrobian School and AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School in Encino and Van Nuys took part in a protest against COP29 in Baku. They marched to the Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church.

In their remarks, the clergy of the church and the leaders of the student council emphasized that the Azerbaijani regime committed human rights violations against ethnic Armenians in Artsakh and perpetrated ethnic cleansing. They demanded the return of 120,000 forcibly displaced persons and the release of prisoners.
