Protesters in Turkiye try to enter American Incirlik airbase

In Turkiye, protesters tried to enter the American Incirlik airbase in Adana province, the Turkish NTV channel reports. The protest was organized in support of Palestine.
The police dispersed protesters with water cannons and tear gas.

The protest was organized by the Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Aid in connection with the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.

The convoy, which left Istanbul on November 3, arrived in Adana on Sunday morning, with people from all over Turkiye joining it on the way.

“The group was allowed to hold a rally in the designated place. When the convoy approached the base, part of the group tried to enter through the fields. The police used pepper gas and water cannons to disperse the protesters,” the channel reports.
