David Kazinyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, and attorney Aram Orbelyan held a joint press conference at which they presented the latest developments surrounding Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC.

“We have appealed to the Administrative Court against the decision of the PSRC, which ruled to revoke ESA’s license. Seven grounds were established for the revocation, six of which are separate bases, while the seventh consists of eight provisions. The court hearings were quite intensive; the last session lasted 13 hours, and in the preceding days we also had sessions during which we were given the opportunity to examine the evidence,” Orbelyan noted.

According to him, the Public Services Regulatory Commission failed to document the violations with convincing evidence.

“It was expected that the PSRC would clearly state which violations are supported by which evidence. But they were not prepared for that. Each time, after discussing each issue, they spent quite a long time reviewing the evidence, trying to determine which document to compare it against. And as a result, it became clear that these grounds are not substantiated,” the attorney stressed.
