At its meeting on September 16, the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia reviewed several agenda items, including the rejection of an administrative complaint filed by CJSC Electric Networks of Armenia, the pledge of shares by Viva Armenia, and other matters. This was reported by the Commission.

In particular, by Decision No. 209-A dated May 29, 2025, the validity period of the guaranteed electricity supply license issued to CJSC Electric Networks of Armenia was extended until February 1, 2029.
The company appealed the decision, requesting that it be declared invalid and that the license be extended for the previously established term. The Commission initiated administrative proceedings and concluded that the decision was lawful.

According to current legislation, once the term for guaranteed supplier status expires, measures to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply across Armenia are developed and implemented in accordance with a government-approved program.

Based on the provisions of this program and the actions taken to implement it, it follows that the license could be extended only until February 1, 2029.

Thus, at today’s meeting, the Commission rejected the administrative complaint filed by CJSC Electric Networks of Armenia.
