Putin and Aliyev discuss preparation of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement

Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev discussed by phone the Russian leader’s visit to Baku and the preparation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace treaty, the Kremlin press center reports.
Speaking about the situation in the South Caucasus, the sides touched upon the preparation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace treaty, border delimitation and demarcation, as well as the unblocking of transport corridors.
Putin reiterated Russia’s readiness to further assist Armenia and Azerbaijan in working out mutually acceptable solutions, the press release said.
