Question about CSTO membership dues should be addressed to Armenian authorities – Maria Zakharova

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Russia should not comment on Armenia’s intentions to pay its CSTO membership fee.

“Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said the other day that Armenia may have CSTO membership dues and not pay them for 2 years. Currently there is a debt for 2024, which expires at the end of 2025. It should also be taken into account that the financing of the CSTO is not much different from the financing of other international organizations,” Maria Zakharova said during the press briefing.
