Rep. McClintock urges Turkey to recognize Armenian Genocide

During the congressional stand for Artsakh’s survival and Armenia’s security, Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) noted that the United States remembers the atrocities of the Armenian Genocide and asks the Turkish government to do the same.

“We remember the atrocities of the Armenian Genocide and the lessons they teach, and we ask the Turkish government to do the same. Of course, children are not guilty for the sins of their parents, but honest recognition of the past can prevent us from repeating those sins,” said Rep. McClintock. “We take particular note of the recent injuries done by their proxies against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and pray that the dark forces responsible will reflect and repent.”
