Representatives of small businesses resume protest outside government building

Representatives of small businesses resumed their protest outside the Armenian government building in Republic Square this morning.

According to them, the changes that came into force on January 1 have increased their tax burden several times, as a result of which they may face serious problems.

The Tax Code was amended; one of the amendments was a double increase in the sales tax rate. According to another amendment to the law, a number of sectors with turnover tax will switch to the value-added taxation system.
