Russia does not rule out connection between statements on setbacks around peace treaty and Louis Bono’s visit to Armenia

Russia does not rule out the connection between Armenia’s statements on the setbacks around the peace treaty and the visit of Louis Bono, US Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations, to Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Friday.

According to Zakharova, there may be “some connection since such conclusions followed immediately after the visit of the American envoy to Yerevan, but this question should be addressed to Armenia.”

Earlier, the Azerbaijani media reported that Baku refused to receive Louis Bono, who wanted to meet with Aliyev after his visit to Yerevan.
