Russia has not heard Armenia’s objections to the West’s demand to remove it from the South Caucasus, Russian FM says
Russia has not heard any objections from Armenia to Western statements about the need to remove Russia from the South Caucasus, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference on Thursday.
“The fact that the West publicly declares the need to remove Russia from the South Caucasus is well known to everyone. We have not heard any objections from Yerevan,” he said.
According to Lavrov, Russia is still open to dialogue with its Armenian colleagues.
“We stay in touch and are always open to dialogue,” he added.
