Russia plans to open consular service centers in 8 countries, including Armenia

Russia intends to open special centers in 8 countries, to provide consular services for its citizens, Head of the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Klimov told TASS.
The list of countries includes Armenia, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
“The relevant organizations will start working as soon as issues related to their legal status on the territory of foreign states are resolved. A further announcement will be made in due time,” Klimov said.
“From now on, citizens interested in consular services, in addition to the direct application, will have an alternative option to receive the required document at the consulting center as quickly as possible,” Klimov added.
